Why I’m running for Select Board
Hi, I’m Amy! I respectfully ask for your vote for the Select Board.
I’m running for the Lamoine Select Board because I am deeply committed to serving our community. As a Select Board member, it’s my job to get to know what is important to everyone in town and act as a public servant, diligently researching issues and using critical thinking for strategic growth. I want to help guide Lamoine through its challenges with innovative, thoughtful solutions. I am committed to transparency, ensuring that our town government communicates openly and works collaboratively with all residents. My track record demonstrates that I’m known for working hard, getting things done, and engaging deeply with my community.
I’ve lived in Lamoine as an adult since 2006. I have served on the Conservation Commission. Last year, I helped lead the successful opposition to a glampground resort proposal. I bring strong fiscal management and leadership experience. Please click Learn More about Amy in the upper right corner. Thank you!
Watch: Candidates’ Night at the Lamoine Town Hall from 2/28/25 *
*On Candidates’ Night, I mistakenly stated that Hancock County has a paucity of assisted living facilities; what I meant to say is that Hancock County has a paucity of nursing home facilities. Apologies for misspeaking and any confusion. Thanks!
Your vote matters. With three candidates for this two-year seat, participation is crucial. Please plan to vote on March 4 and spread the word. Thank you!
